All Meade LX200 telescopes are equipped to operate from an input voltage of 18 volts DC. For field use, all it takes to guarantee optimal performance is a standard 12v.DC automobile cigarette lighter plug and the #1812 Electronic DC Adapter. The #1812 automatically converts 12v.DC into 18v.DC power. It measures 2" x 4" x 1" and weighs only 4 ounces. A 25-foot cord is included.Note: The #1812A Electronic DC Adapter is required for use with the 16" LX200 because of its higher current capacity. All other LX200 models use the #1812 adapter. For LX10 and LX90 models, the #607 Power Cord allows operation from a 12v. auto cigarette lighter plug.

Create lasting impressions of your telescopic findings with your standard 35mm camera. All you need to get started with your reflecting or refracting telescope is a Basic Camera Adapter, which threads onto the rear cell of your telescope, and a T-mount appropriate to your brand of 35mm camera (sold separately). With these two components in place, the camera body is rigidly coupled to the telescope's optical system, which in effect becomes the camera's lens. Just operate your camera normally to capture stunning celestial and terrestrial images like never before! The 1.25" Basic Camera Adapter directly attaches to your camera body and a .1.25" telescope eyepiece holder. Each adapter is machined to close tolerance from a solid bar of hardened aluminum; all surfaces are anodized to yield a beautiful smooth black finish and to minimize internal reflections. Barrels are of chrome-plated brass; the barrels of 1.25" Basic Camera Adapters are threaded for Series 4000 Photo-Visual Color Filters. Basic Camera Adapters should be used with a T-Mount appropriate to your brand of 35mm camera.

The Meade Variable Tele-Extender is an essential accessory for eyepiece projection photography of the Moon and planets through any Meade LX-series telescope. It permits a continuous range of projection magnifications – which is of particular value in high-resolution lunar and planetary photography applications.The Variable Tele-Extender attaches to the outer-diameter threads of your telescope's eyepiece-holder and accepts insertion of an eyepiece of 15mm to 32mm focal length. The 35mm camera body couples to the Tele-Extender by means of a T-Mount, which is available separately. The Tele-Extender also works with other Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes.Note: The Variable Tele-Extender also works with ED Apochromatic Refractors. Just add the Universal Thread Adapter along with the T-Mount to the Adapter to begin your photographic applications.

The Meade #777 Off-Axis Guider allows the photographer to monitor the telescope's tracking and ensure that it remains perfectly positioned on the object being photographed. Such capability is pivotal during long-exposure astrophotography.Like the T-Adapter, the Guider couples the camera body to the telescope. It also causes a small amount of the guidestar's incoming light to be diverted at a right-angle, where the star's position can be examined for tracking errors with the crossline pattern of the PL9mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece or other guiding devices. Any necessary position corrections can then be made using the telescope's drive systems. The #777 works with any LX-Series telescope or other Schmidt-Cassegrain. Use with the appropriate T-Mount, ordered separately, for your 35mm camera brand.Note: The #777 Off-Axis Guider also works with ED Apochromatic Refractors.
